If you are seeing this message, you have used a broken link to access our Church of England (CofE) National Professional Qualification application form. We recently changed our application system but some links to this old one might still be circulating. Whether you are just starting on your application process, or you’ve already started, we will make sure to get you back on track as soon as possible.

So that we can get you to the right place, please follow the instructions below.

If this your first step in the application process, and you have not yet registered with the Department for Education (DfE), please use this link https://www.cefel.org.uk/npq/. Scroll down and click ‘start application’. Once you have registered with the DfE, you will be sent the new application form via email.

If you have already registered with the DfE and have not yet received your CofE application form, please send us an email and we will give you access to your application form via email.

If you have already completed both your DfE registration and your CofE application form, and have been asked to complete your CofE application form again, please send us an email. It's likely that we already have your complete form and simply need to migrate it to the new system. If you have received a formal offer already please be reassured that this offer still stands.
